Torres Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indian Tribe, a federally recognized tribe, has inked a deal for 24,408 square feet at 900 Corporate Center Drive in Monterey Park for its administrative offices.
The deal is valued at close to $8 million over the course of the 126-month term of the contract.
The building is one of four located within LA Corporate Center, a complex totaling 394,000 rentable square feet. With this lease, the building is now 94 percent leased.
The four buildings are owned by a joint venture between the Blackstone Group and SL Green. Equity Office Properties, a Blackstone affiliate, heads up the portfolio’s management and leasing.
Linda Lee, Scott Unger and Bill Boyd of Charles Dunn Company’s Glendale office represented the landlord, while Steve Seinfeld of Cresa represented the tenant.
“The tenant sought out and compared other office buildings in the area and found 900 Corporate Center Drive to provide the most affordable cost of occupancy with the best freeway access and central location for the tenant’s employees,” Unger said in a statement. — Katherine Clarke
