He may have bemoaned it in song, but Benji Madden is now living the lifestyle of the rich and famous.

The guitarist of pop-rock band Good Charlotte has sold his Nichols Canyon pad for $1.6 million after moving in with his wife, Cameron Diaz, in Beverly Hills. He sold his bachelor pad to fellow rockstar Chris Cester of Jet, Zillow reported.

Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland was the listing agent.

The Hollywood Hills residence has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and high ceilings. It is surrounded by trees at the end of a gated driveway. Built in 1951, the property has a half-acre lot with a spacious outdoor patio.

Last year, Diaz sold her Manhattan apartment for $4.3 million. [Zillow]Cathaleen Chen
