Mary Lee Blaylock is now the president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) California Properties. Former president and executive David Cabot will become a chairman.

Blaylock has been the senior vice president and general manager of BHHS California Properties since 2014. In her new leadership position, she will oversee the firm’s overall strategy and operations. She will also supervise BHHS California Properties’ affiliated businesses, which include HomeServices Lending, Pickford Escrow and California Title and Home Services Insurance Agency.

Cabot exits the role after serving as CEO for five years. As chairman, he will represent the company at local and national real estate associations.

A new specialty group, the International Multifamily Advisory Group, is launching at commercial brokerage Lee & Associates. Warren Berzack, principal of Lee & Associates-L.A. North/Ventura Inc., has been recruited to be its director. With 15 years of experience as a broker and multifamily agent, he will help build IMAG’s infrastructure from the ground up.

Global infrastructure firm AECOM nabbed former CBRE senior vice president Ted Fentin to be managing director of its investment and development arm, AECOM Capital. Fentin will oversee the company’s West Coast platform after specializing in debt and structured finance at CBRE. Prior to that position, he led West Coast acquisitions at DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, a division of Credit Suisse.
