Global Agri-Trade Corporation, an importer and distributor of non-GMO oils, has nabbed a brand new 62,482-square-foot industrial building near Gardena from Panattoni Development Company.
It will relocate to the facility from its its current spaces in La Mirada and Long Beach. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank brokers Christopher Beck and Ryan Harding represented Agri-Trade in the deal, while Panattoni had no representation.
“The tenant was interested in this building even before it was built,” Beck said. “The unique building footprint, strategic location and ability to separate Global Agri-Trade’s two businesses in one warehouse were all significant attractions to the project. The overall efficiency they will achieve in the new building will improve their business operations and help them to service customers better.”
The property, at 15500 South Avalon Boulecard, comprises approximately 57,000 square feet of warehouse and 5,000 square feet of office space. — Katherine Clarke
