From Luxury Listings New York: You may never shoot a basketball like Steph Curry, but if you’ve got a spare $3.9 million, you can use the basketball hoop he uses to practice on (and the rest of the house). According to the Wall Street Journal, the basketball star has listed his home in Orinda, CA for $3.895 million, a few months after buying a bigger place in nearby Walnut Creek for $3.2 million in November.
Curry bought the 4,700-square-foot Orinda home in 2013 for $3.1 million, and he and his wife, Ayesha, added a swimming pool, heated outdoor kitchen, dining area, TV and bar. And — obviously — a basketball hoop in the driveway. The gated estate also comes with a vineyard, putting green, and a dumbwaiter that can bring food between the main level and the downstairs. It has five bedrooms, and the master bedroom comes with two private balconies.
Curry was voted MVP last year, as a player for the Golden State Warriors. He is often called one of the best shooters in NBA history, though his daughter, Riley, sometimes steals the spotlight from him during press conferences. Ayesha gave birth to their second daughter in July — hence the family’s need for a larger home.
