When Robert Stamm moved from Savills Studley to Colliers, he took his whole capital markets team with him. This new addition to Colliers’ Institutional Investment Division is part of the firm’s efforts to increase its presence on the West Coast.

Stamm and his Capital Markets team of Steven Ward, Andres Roldan, Brandon McMenomy and Brian Corrigan, will continue their work as advisors to foreign investors under the Colliers International Western Region banner. Stamm will be based in Irvine. In addition to his role as the executive managing director of this team, he will also co-lead the firm’s National Institutional Investment Division. His move follows Colliers’ hire of Michael Roberts and his team in San Diego just last month.

Meanwhile, back at Savills Studley, Bill Bauman was promoted to co-head its Global Retail Services Group, along with Susan Kurland, who was poached from CBRE. Their primary focus will be developing the company’s retail platform.

Before his promotion, Bauman served as an executive vice president at Savills focused on retail. His team has had clients such as Target, Toys “R” Us, Regency Centers and Paragon Commercial Group.

Last but not least, CBRE has its own new recruit. Nick Rittenhouse of the Townsend Group has joined the mega-firm as a director of investor services.

Rittenhouse was a consultant at Townsend, where he worked eight years. At CBRE, his role will include managing investor relationships, recommending investment programs and capital-raising.
