Eagles bassist sells Hollywood Hills house for $2M

The eagle has landed…himself a sale.</p> <p>Timothy Schmit, bass guitarist and vocalist for the seminal rock band Eagles, just sold his Whitley Heights home for a sliver under $2 million, Variety reported.</p> <p>Described as “the perfect bohemian artist’s retreat” in its listing, the four-bedroom residence built in 1920s Spanish-style has open-plan living spaces including a den, dining room with canyon views, exposed ceiling beams and terraces.<!--more--></p> <p>The 3,466-square-foot hillside house has a conjoined guest apartment with its own entrance, kitchen and private loggia.</p> <p>Schmit bought the property in 2009 for $1.5 million. <a href="http://variety.com/2016/dirt/news/timothy-schmit-eagles-selling-hollywood-home-1201784871/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">[Variety]</a> &#8212; <em>Cathaleen Chen</em></p>
