Producer Megan Ellison is flipping it like it’s hot

Film producer and software heiress Megan Ellison is becoming somewhat of a real estate power player in Los Angeles.

The producer, known for her work in the production of films like “American Hustle” and “Her,” is reportedly selling a Beverly Hills house for $15 million, just a month after buying it for $13.5 million.

Earlier this month, Ellison coughed up $40 million for five contiguous buildings in West Hollywood for her production company, Annapurna Pictures.

The 5,603-square-foot house in question has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Built in 1955, the ranch-style home features double gates and a semi-circle driveway. Outside, the property has gardens and a swimming pool. It sits on an 0.88-acre parcel.

Over in Mount Olympus, Ellison is planning her mega-compound. She bought several properties between late 2013 and early 2015, amounting to a total of about $35 million. [Variety] — Cathaleen Chen
