From the New York December issue: Two weeks before his upset White House victory, Donald Trump broke out the golden scissors for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Old Post Office building in Washington, D.C., which his real estate company had converted into a 263-room luxury Trump International Hotel.

“This will be one of the great hotels anywhere in the world,” he said inside the building while union protesters marched outside. [more]
