Assembly will soon be required in Los Angeles County.

Swedish home furnishing giant IKEA is putting the finishing touches on its new Burbank location, which will be its largest U.S. store.

The 456,000-square-foot store at 805 South San Fernando Boulevard will open Feb. 8 and will feature a 600-seat dining area and 1,700 parking spaces, the Los Angeles Times reported.

It will be almost double the size of its 242,000-square-foot outpost at the Burbank Town Center, and will have nearly double the warehouse capacity. That location will shutter two days before the new behemoth opens.

IKEA opened in Burbank in 1990. It was the company’s first California store. [LAT] — Subrina Hudson
