David Weinert built a career helping shopping centers fill up empty slots by heading leasing efforts for projects including the World Trade Center and the Village at Westfield Topanga.
But this time, his real estate is personal. The former Westfield Group and Taubman Company executive put his St. Ives Drive home on the market Wednesday for $6 million.
The 4,445-square-foot Contemporary home near the Sunset Strip features an open floor plan with panoramic views of the city.
The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home has sliding glass walls in almost every room, opening to an outdoor deck and terrace.
Jason Oppenheim of The Oppenheim Group has the listing.
“The home is also tucked away on a private cul-de-sac street yet just a short walk to all of Sunset Plaza shopping and eateries,” he said.
Weinert, who launched his own retail real estate consulting firm last year, purchased the home in 2013 for $4 million, according to property records. It was built in 1961.
