Cushman & Wakefield’s poaching spree of 2016 is not slowing in the new year.
The brokerage nabbed veteran Tri-Cities brokers Shaun Stiles and Katie Cowan from JLL, the company announced Monday. Stiles, a 26-year industry veteran, joined Cushman’s Downtown Los Angeles office as an executive director, while Cowan joined as a director.
Stiles will focus on agency leasing and tenant representation in the Tri-Cities market, specializing in the life sciences industry. Cowan will focus on agency leasing, tenant representation, and landlord representation in the Tri-Cities, Downtown, and San Gabriel Valley markets.
“We are extremely excited about the move to Cushman & Wakefield and believe that this new platform will allow us to better serve our clients and expand our business,” Stiles said in a statement.
This is the brokers’ second move as a team. Stiles and Cowan left Colliers together, joining JLL in 2011. Their landlord clients include Hines, J.P. Morgan, Beacon and LNR. Their tenant clients include Bluebeam, Xencor, Stewart Title, Alliant Insurance, Genzyme, Employers Insurance Group, and Charter Communications.
