Ratings for “The Apprentice” may be tanking with Arnold Schwarzenegger at the helm, but the show’s creator is still riding high.

Reality television producer Mark Burnett, the brains behind the show, nabbed a Malibu home for $4.1 million and has put it on the rental market for $9,000 a month, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The 1,900-square-foot Point Dume abode has four bedrooms, three bedrooms and an open living and dining area. It also features a garage-turned-media room and a detached “writer’s cottage” in the backyard.

Built in 1953, the ranch-style house sits on more than an acre. Pinnacle Estate Properties’ Glen Steele has the rental listing.

Burnett has close ties to President Donald Trump, having recruited him as the host of “The Apprentice.” But while Trump reportedly reached out to Burnett to help organize his inauguration festivities last year, the TV exec declined a public role in the campaign or inaugural committee. [LAT]Cathaleen Chen
