Balthazar Getty lists Hollywood home for $10M

Actor and oil heir Balthazar Getty and his wife, fashion designer Rosetta Getty, have listed their gated Hollywood compound for $9.85 million, The Real Deal has learned.

The couple has owned the Solar Drive property since 2003, when they were newlyweds, records show.

The six-bedroom, 11-bathroom property sits on a flat ridge overlooking the L.A. Basin and totals 6,000 square feet, according to Zillow. The estate has private access to hiking trails.

Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland has the listing. He did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The couple reportedly hosts chic dinner parties on the terrace, inviting the likes of Patricia Arquette, who is Rosetta’s childhood friend, and Courtney Cox.

“I’d always lived in old, dark, Spanish-style houses,” Rosetta told Harpers Bazaar of the property in 2010. “When we bought this house, I was looking for light.”

The Gettys split briefly in 2009 after Balthazar’s affair with British actress Sienna Miller.
