Lindsay Chambers, daughter of Cisco executive chairman John Chambers, sold her Beverly Hills Flats home for $8.35 million, well above the $5.96 million she paid for it in 2015, The Real Deal has learned.
The buyer is an LLC linked to Jim Tsai, president of Snail Games USA, the American arm of a Chinese video game company, records show.
Chambers, an interior designer, has made a name for herself in real estate by buying up homes in the Bird Streets. In the past few years, she’s spent over $21 million on a couple of properties on Tanager Way, one of which was formerly owned by “Will & Grace” actress Megan Mullally.
The Trousdale Estates property, at 520 N. Hillcrest, was originally asking $9.5 million last year but had its price slashed to $9 million in February.
Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland had the listing.
The five-bedroom, five-bathroom home features a library and a grand living room with a fireplace, according to Zillow.
