For this Disney exec, Brentwood seems to be the happiest place on earth.
Sean Bailey, the president of production at Walt Disney Pictures, bought a 6,700-square-foot home next to Brentwood Park for just shy of $9 million, according to real estate gossip queen Yolanda Yakketyyak.
The sale marks the first time the traditional single-story home has traded since it was first built in 1985, property records show. The property features a grand foyer, a formal dining room, a library with a fireplace, multiple bay windows, beamed ceilings and French doors that open to the back patios. There are five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The master suite has dual baths and its own gym, according to listing materials.
David Offer of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brokered both sides of the deal.
Before joining Disney, Bailey founded his own production firm, LivePlanet. He also co-created the TV series, “Push, Nevada” with Ben Affleck. At Disney, he’s worked on recent live-action films such as “Cinderella” and “Maleficent.”
