David Madden dropped the price of his Bel Air home last week to $8.9 million, or $1,569 a square foot, The Real Deal has learned.

The president of entertainment at Fox Broadcasting first listed the contemporary home on “Billionaire’s Row” in April with an asking price of $9.9 million.

The 5,733-square-foot property on Bel Air Road has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and several floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the home.

It also features a bar, a large wine room with eucalyptus wood shelves and an outdoor saltwater pool, surrounded by gardens.

Madden and his wife, Marci Pool, purchased the property in 2015 for $7 million, according to property records.

Jill Epstein of Nourmand & Associates is the listing agent, according to Redfin, but declined to comment.

Madden was named president of entertainment in 2014. The longtime Fox executive is responsible for scripted programming and development, alternative entertainment and casting at the network, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
