More than 500 execs slated to attend the annual REIT Week next week

The annual REIT Week conference, one of the largest real estate events in New York City, is coming next week. Running from June 6 to 8 at the New York Hilton Midtown, the gathering is expected to draw more than 500 executives from established and new real estate investment trusts. Registered speakers include SL Green Realty’s Marc Holliday, Vornado Realty Trust’s Steven Roth and Clipper Equity’s David Bistricer. More than 130 companies are slated to make presentations.

The event has more than 2,900 people registered, with large financial firms such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase bringing more than two-dozen professionals each.

Other regional events next week include the Future of Long Island Commercial Real Estate, to be held in Plainview, Long Island, on June 8.

Later this month in Midtown, the Real Estate Board of New York will hold its 19th annual retail deal of the year award ceremony, and in Los Angeles, iGlobal Forum will host the 5th Annual Real Estate Crowdfunding Summit.
