The Real Deal Los Angeles

Priciest home listings in LA last week

Bel Air spec manse soars to the top

Priciest listings (MLS)

The difference between the priciest listing last week and the second priciest? A mere $83.5 million.

After four months without a $100 million-plus home listing, Donald Bolin of Bolin Development busted onto the scene with a 31,000-square-foot spec palace, asking price of $100 million. The next most expensive property listed last week was a paltry-by-comparison $16.5 million.

Bolin told The Real Deal the five-year project will likely be his last mega-home, joking that another spec manse development would probably end his marriage.
