A Sherman Oaks attorney wants to build a 48-unit apartment building on the site of an auto repair shop in North Hollywood, city filings show.
The applicant, Victor Svilik, acquired a 30 percent interest in the property, a land parcel on the corner of Camelia Avenue and Burbank Boulevard, in February for $756,000.
The rest of the stake is owned by an entity, AIV LLC, that is linked to his family members, Isabella and Alan Svilik. The pair acquired the property in 2016 for $2.5 million.
The development would rise three stories and include three units for very low-income households.
