The joy of indoor-outdoor living dominated last week’s priciest listings.
Three of the contemporary-style homes in Los Angeles have walls of glass that can be pushed aside to connect the living room to a backyard or patio.
The Malibu home at 21818 Pacific Coast Highway took the lead, asking $14 million. Its doors open to an entertainment deck that wraps around the main level.
The deck also has a fire pit, outdoor shower and steps leading directly to the beach.
Designed by Jon Mandl, the 4,257-square-foot home on Carla Ridge was made for entertaining, according to listings details. The Beverly Hills estate is asking $12.7 million and has rooms leading out to the property’s swimming pool and spa, as well as a viewing pavilion.
Another contemporary Beverly Hills home squeezed onto the list with an asking price of $7.5 million. The 5,700-square-foot property has a glass door off the kitchen that opens directly into a large swimming pool. There’s also a glass encased hallway that expands over the swimming pool.
