In last week’s priciest listings, the devil was in the details. Each of the top five homes offer plenty of amenities — from 200-year-old Chinese wallpaper to a guesthouse sitting on more than one acre.

The onetime home of actress Ann Rutherford and her husband, television producer William Dozier, an estate at 826 Greenway Drive boasts European and Parisian fixtures from the 1920s and 1930s. The priciest mansion, asking $39.9 million, has a butler’s pantry leading to a morning room accented with 200-year-old Chinese wallpaper. There’s also a mosaic ceiling and custom steel and marble floors in the kitchen.

Built in 2005, the massive estate at 417 Paseo de la Playa consists of two separate parcels that have direct access to the beach. The main house is more than 10,000 square feet and the second home clocks in at over 5,500 square feet. The estate has a private sand volleyball court, movie theater, gym, wine cellar, pizza oven and a geothermal heating and cooling system.

The gated Pacific Palisades estate on Amalfi Drive, asking $19.5 million, is linked to landscaper-to-the stars Jay Griffith. Built in 1933, the 4,818-square-foot home has a two-story entry, vintage pub, period fixtures and tile and a lush backyard with manicured lawns.

While it’s expected to finish construction in November, the Beverly Hills home on Haynes Avenue asking $16.5 million will offer a rooftop deck featuring a theater, bar and fireplace. The 4,679-square-foot home also has a formal foyer art gallery, sunken living room, lounge and bar.

The Point Dume home on Zumirez Drive, asking $15.8 million, is on the market for the first time in more than 40 years, according to listing details. The mid-century home has a large great room with walls of glass and a direct path leading to the beach. There’s also an additional one-acre adjoining lot with a separate home.

Here are the top five single-family home listings in Los Angeles, according to TRD’s analysis of Redfin, Zillow and MLS data:
