Partners Trust – soon to be called Pacific Union – poached PCH Estates founder Robert Edie to join the firm’s Malibu office. Edie started residential real estate brokerage PCH Estates in 2013, which largely focused on coastal markets including Malibu and Venice. His notable sales include Joseph Kennedy’s beach house in Malibu and the Lofts at Cherokee Studios.

Compass is continuing its hiring spree and has now recruited Tiffany Rochelle from Halton Pardee and Partners. Rochelle will be bringing her team from the Venice-based brokerage, which includes Tracey Becker and Kate Federico.

Commercial brokerage CBRE kept up with residential poaching and hired a new team from Avison Young. Office leasing brokers Jacob Bobek, Scott Steuber and Jeff Vertun will be joining the firm’s Occupier Advisory & Transaction Services group in Downtown. Bobek will serve an executive vice president role, while Steuber will be a senior vice president. Vertun will hold a first vice president title.
