Designer Jeffrey Rudes— former owner of fashion retailer J Brand – is seeking a buyer for his 1.6-acre estate in Coldwater Canyon, which he has listed for $45 million, the Wall Street Journal reported. The home formerly belonged to the late powerhouse talent agent Ed Limato.

Spanning roughly 19,800 square feet, the renovated property boasts seven bedrooms, 20 bathrooms, a guesthouse, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a golf simulator and a massage room. A wine cellar with a ventilated cigar room can be found on the basement floor.

Rudes purchased the home in 2011 for $8.2 million, records show. He intended to move into the home with his ex-wife and designer Terre Jacobs at the time.

Prior to Rudes, the estate once belonged to longtime talent agent Limato, who repped clients including Richard Gere and Steve Martin. The former senior vice president of William Morris Agency passed away in July 2010.

Stephen Resnick and Jonathan Nash of Hilton & Hyland have the listing.

Rudes is best known for co-founding denim label J Brand, which he sold in May 2014. He recently launched a new fashion line called L’Agence. [WSJ]Natalie Hoberman
