A developer wants to build a five-story, mixed-use complex in Mount Washington, with a significant retail component.

The building would have 100 residential units and rise at 3832 North Figueroa Street, according to a permit application filed with the city. Plans call for a two-story retail component with 14 retail units and room for parking. A few retail shops are currently on the site, including a convenience store.

Aekyeong Kim is listed as the property owner. Kim purchased the 7,500-square-foot lot in 2015 for $600,000, records show.
