The owner of Rustic Valley Farms, an equestrian ranch with 360 acres of rolling citrus, olive and avocado groves in eastern Ventura County, has listed it for sale at $28 million.
The ranch, whose log cabin and rugged landscape serve as a getaway for weddings, events and vacations, is located at 15000 Middle Ranch Road, outside Moorpark, Dirt.com reported.
Rustic Valley Farms includes a custom cabin and other buildings on nine buildable parcels on 360 acres. At that size, it seeks $77,778 per acre.
Brokers Mauricio Umansky, Alexia Umansky, Joey Ben-Zvi and Brandon Piller of The Agency hold the listing.
The “captivating retreat” includes a 1,950-square-foot log cabin clad in Canadian cedar, according to the listing.
The three-bedroom, two-bath home has hardwood floors, vaulted wood-beam ceilings and carved wood trim, plus wraparound decks with views of Happy Camp Canyon, Rustic Valley Golf Course and the surrounding hills.
Highlights include a combination living-dining room next to a kitchen with stainless appliances and an eat-in island. There’s a loft plus a large master bedroom with a balcony.
For horse lovers, there’s a workout arena, 11 stables, riding trails and a barn equipped with an apartment.
The ranch, billed as a wedding and vacation retreat worthy of filming, is lined with olive, lemon, mandarin and avocado groves. The land is also primed for vineyards, more citrus or alternative crops.
The grounds contain a foreman’s house, equipment shed, wood shop, three storage containers, a wind machine, two wells, a reservoir and a new water-filtration system. There’s also a lighted basketball court and chicken coop.
