A Beverly Hills mansion last rented by Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck has been listed for $85 million.
The 32,000-square-foot estate once owned by Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman is up for sale at 1028 Ridgedale Drive, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The seller is Australian billionaire James Packer, who says he bought the house in 2018 for $65 million.
Lo and Affleck had rented the 12-bedroom, 17-bathroom mansion before they bought a 38,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Crest last May for $60.9 million.
The two-story estate was owned by DeVito and Perlman for two decades before they sold it in 2015 for $26.6 million, according to public records.
The white mansion, with a black front door behind soaring columns, is flanked by an “accessory building” and a pool house with an apartment, according to the listing.
The black-shuttered home, built in 1930 on 1.3 acres, has been extensively remodeled.
DeVito’s original movie screening room has a motorized wall that opens the theater into an entertainment room next door. There’s also a fitness room, wine cellar, wood-paneled cigar room and a game room with a bar and billiards.
The grounds include a pool, spa, outdoor dining area and kitchen. There are two garages: one with parking for six cars, including three car lifts, and another for two cars.
Brokers Santiago Arana of The Agency and Jade Mills at Coldwell Banker Realty hold the listing.
Luxury home sales have slowed across the U.S. But Arana believes the mansion’s Beverly Hills location will be a draw for buyers not subject to the voter-approved “mansion tax” in Los Angeles.
“The market in general is good — maybe not great, but it is good,” Mills told the Journal. “We are seeing properties sell that are priced correctly.”
Packer was the largest shareholder in Crown Resorts, a casino operator, before Blackstone bought it last year for $6.4 billion, according to Forbes. He is the son of late billionaire Kerry Packer, who made his money in media, chemicals and casinos.
