Amir Ensani is the head of new development at The Fridman Group International at Compass. He will focus on selling luxe condos, which was his job for the past year when he worked at Mandarin Oriental and The Century Plaza.
His initial focus at the new job is selling units at Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills at 9900 Santa Monica, which is scheduled to open in December.
Branded with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the $100 million boutique condo complex is anticipated to command high-end asking prices, in competition with other hotel-branded condominiums such as The Pendry Residences West Hollywood and Four Seasons.
When asked whether a luxury condo could compete in the Los Angeles market with expensive mansions, Ensani responded that condo buyers would get a lot of space for their money.
“People are able to live in estate-sized residences,” he said.
His new boss, Tomer Fridman, added that “residents are actually combining units and making estate-alternative living. … They have huge balcony spaces.”
