City Ventures has moved forward with plans to build 54 townhomes in South Gate.
The Irvine-based developer aims to construct the three-story attached townhomes on a vacant lot at 10130 Adella Avenue, west of the Los Angeles River, Urbanize Los Angeles reported, citing a new environmental report.
Plans call for 54 for-sale townhomes with three or four bedrooms ranging from 1,300 to 1,700 square feet.

The gray and white complex, designed by KTGY and C2 Collaborative, would have 12,000 square feet of common open space including pedestrian walkways, lawns and a central park.
The City of South Gate will require that six of the homes would be set aside as affordable to moderate-income buyers.
The cost of the proposed complex was not disclosed.
Pending approvals, City Ventures would break ground in June and complete the homes by September of next year.
City Ventures, founded in 2009, has projects in the works for Artesia and Santa Ana, according to Urbanize. It’s also active in the Bay Area.
In Northern California, Urbanize SF reports the developer has plans for multifamily housing near Mineta International Airport in Santa Clara.
