A Brentwood home doubling as a wellness retreat from seller and celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson is among last week’s top homes that went into contract.
The Brentwood contemporary at 13162 Boca De Canon was last week’s second-biggest home that went into contract by listing price, according to a report from the Eklund Gomes team at Douglas Elliman.
Compass’ Tara Rodgers-Culbertson holds the listing, which is asking $10.3 million for the four-bedroom, five-bathroom residence.
Anderson has made a name and business for herself with the Tracy Anderson Method workouts and fitness studios, used by Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Wilde and Victoria Beckham. Anderson has also trained Madonna and Jennifer Lopez.
Highlights of the property include a water purification system, a sauna made by Nordica, gardens, and a pool and spa, according to the listing. Anderson worked with consulting firm Nurtured Nests on the home’s environmental design.
The Brentwood home is just one in a raft of Westside properties that went into contract last week and dominated the Eklund Gomes report.
Sitting in the top spot among signed contracts in Los Angeles County last week is 653 Palisades Beach Road, which has an asking price of $13.5 million.
Compass’ Madison Hildebrand, a former “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” cast member, and Jennifer Chrisman hold the Santa Monica listing. Hildebrand leads The Malibu Life team at the brokerage as its CEO, while Chrisman holds the title of partner.
Hildebrand and Chrisman’s listing is a remodeled bungalow, sitting on the beach. It has four beds and five baths across over 3,400 square feet. The home has a pool, private courtyard, gym and guest house.
The seller is a trust tied to John B. Rusconi and his wife Anna Negyesi, according to the deed.
A dozen signed contracts were inked on the Westside last week, out of 18 total, according to the Eklund Weekly Luxury Report Los Angeles. The report tallies properties of $4 million or more in the Multiple Listing Service.
The 18 properties that went into contract last week penciled out to $114.8 million in asking dollar volume, per the Eklund Gomes report. That compares with the prior week’s 17 contracts, good for $186.2 million in volume.
