John Muir Road Takes Top Spot on Hidden Hills Sales List

A home on John Muir Road in the celebrity-stocked San Fernando Valley municipality of Hidden Hills scored the No. 1 spot on the priciest single-family sales list there for roughly the first three quarters, according to Los Angeles County tax assessor data.

The 10,874-square-foot house at 6080 John Muir Road sold for $21.4 million, or $1,968 per square foot, in January. It had been on the market for $23.5 million, according to an Instagram post from Douglas Elliman’s Marc Shevin, who listed the home in the city of 2,000 or so, including numerous Hollywood, music and sports stars in the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains.

The “beautiful custom estate” is “nestled on a private 2.4-acre view lot,” Shevin said in his social media post. The two-bedroom house has six-bedrooms, seven-full bathrooms and three-half-baths.

Mark Binder and Lisa Binder are listed as the sellers. They bought the property for $4.6 million in 2019, property records indicate.

Equity Union’s Nicole Tekiela, then at The Agency, represented the buyer in the deal, Legendary Holdings LLC.

Second on the top 10 priciest Hidden Hills list is the $17.5 million sale of 24304 Little Valley Road, followed by the $9.6 million sale of 23870 Long Valley Road. When actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli close the sale of their estate at 25210 Jim Bridger Road, it will make the list. The house went into contract in October with an asking price just under $15 million, or $1,266 per square foot, The Real Deal reported.Not on the top 10 list? Kris Jenner’s 25115 Eldorado Meadow Road, which was put up for sale for $13.5 million in February. The house — which was the family’s famed Hidden Hills property that appeared on several seasons of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” — is still on the market.
