A proposed film production campus in Baldwin Hills is moving forward as more details about the site emerge.

The Los Angeles Department of City Planning has released a new environmental report showcasing plans for 4S Bay Partners’ production facilities at 3701 West Stocker Street, Urbanize Los Angeles reported. The development, known as Stocker Street Creative, would consist of five new buildings and a sixth small security office.

Building A, slated to rise three stories at the corner of Santa Rosalia Boulevard and Stocker Street, would span 34,700 square feet and boast offices, a food court and retail space. Three to four fast-casual restaurants would take up 11,500 square feet on the ground floor, while commercial offices would comprise about 24,000 square feet on the second and third floors.

Located across a 31,000-square-foot landscaped central plaza would be Building B, a six-story, 133,200-square-foot structure with 44,400 square feet of studio production support, 88,800 square feet of leasable office space and a 9,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant and garden.

Building D, situated across a service road, would rise 57 feet and have 30,000 square feet of sound stages. Building E similarly would be the same height and have 19,200 square feet of sound stages as well as 13,000 square feet across a mezzanine and underground mill shop space. Building F, attached to Building E, would be five stories tall with 370 vehicle parking spots, 50 bicycle parking stalls and a 3,000-square-foot community room on the ground floor.

If approved, construction on the Stocker Street Creative complex would take nearly three years, kicking off as early as July and wrapping up by May 2029.

Stocker Street Creative would join two other large commercial developments that are in the works nearby. Harridge Development Group is approved to add more than 900 homes, a hotel and other commercial space to the 42-acre Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza mall, and Hudson Pacific Properties is poised to build about 300,000 square feet of offices across from the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza mall at the former Marlton Square site
