The daughter of a former Los Angeles city planning director and consultant on trophy, mixed-use projects such as One Beverly Hills has made her way to Compass.

Helen Howe was named managing director of Compass Development Marketing Group, based in Los Angeles. She’s tasked with handling marketing and sales for the Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills, Mandarin Oriental Residences Beverly Hills and Harland in West Hollywood.

Howe joined Compass after serving as a consultant on the mixed-use projects One Beverly Hills and Esencia in Puerto Rico. Before that, she was in New York at Corcoran Sunshine for more than a decade.

Howe’s roots in local development run deep. Her father is former Los Angeles director of city planning Con Howe, who left the city in 2005 after 13 years. He later joined multifamily developer and investor Cityview as managing director.

Elsewhere in Southern California, here’s who else went on a recruiting spree at the tail end of 2025.

➤ Steve Alexander is now with the Beverly Hills Estates, focusing on Los Angeles high-end development and sales.

The agent and his wife, Vanessa Alexander of Alexander Design, have developed homes together in the past as he now brings that experience to the West Hollywood brokerage.

Alexander is also a former agent at places such as CAA and ICM, representing actors such as Jared Leto, John Travolta, Kim Basinger, Natalie Portman and the late Heath Ledger. He later went on to become a producer at Atlas Entertainment.

Rodeo Realty has padded its offices in the valley in a big way, while also snagging several alumni from JohnHart Real Estate in the process.

That includes Brett Kleinman in Encino, Tammy Delwarte in Woodland Hills and Viktorya Hovhannisyan in Sherman Oaks.

The brokerage also added Chad Schlotterback in its Beverly Hills office. As of Monday, the agent hadn’t yet moved his license over from JohnHart, according to state records.

Meanwhile, Rodeo Realty brought on Claudio Pena, who came from Real Brokerage Technologies, to be based out of Sherman Oaks. There was also Alex Aguilar, who joined the Northridge office from Management Systems Corp.

Newly licensed agents Michael Ehrhart in Sherman Oaks and Cristina Berari in Beverly Hills have also hung their hats at Rodeo Realty.
