Los Angeles County deal flow bounced back last week as signed contracts ticked up.
Across Los Angeles County, 22 homes went into contract for the seven days ended Feb. 1, which was good for $150.4 million in asking volume, according to the Eklund Weekly Luxury Report Los Angeles. While up from recent weeks, that’s still off from the year-ago comparison when the county saw 26 contracts amounting to $199.7 million in asking volume.
The weekly report, compiled by the Eklund Gomes team’s Marcy Roth at Douglas Elliman, tracks contract activity within the county of homes listed for $4 million or more in the Multiple Listing Service.
Last week’s top home to go into contract based on asking price was 1220 Corsica Drive in the Pacific Palisades, according to the Eklund Gomes report.
The property, which was built last year, is listed for just under $20 million or $1,943 per square foot.
Property and state records show the seller of the spec development is a limited liability company called 1220 Corsica and managed by Tzvika Diner. The LLC purchased the home in 2022 for $7.2 million, or $695 per square foot.
Compass’ Shirli Depas holds the listing, which is located in the Palisades’ Lower Riviera neighborhood.
Highlights of the contemporary-style residence include a home theater, a wine cellar, a fitness center, a pool and a smart home technology system. Overall, the home is 10,293 square feet with six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
Last week’s second top home to go into contract, based on listing price, was the residence at 340 Trousdale Place in Beverly Hills. The Trousdale Estates home is listed for $13.8 million, or $2,926 per square foot.
The seller is a Delaware shell company called Casila, which purchased the property in 2024 for $11.1 million, property records show.
Douglas Elliman’s Vincent Bouvier and Frederique Benhamou hold the listing.
The home counts four beds and six baths across 4,717 square feet.
Built in 1963, the residence sits on a lot that’s almost an acre. The gated property includes a motor court, 11-foot ceilings in the living room, a primary suite with a fireplace and a pool in the shape of a diamond.
