The latest exit out of Beverly Hills brokerage Hilton Hilton is Justin Alexander, who packed up his business and most of his team to head to The Agency.
Alexander, along with Tab Howard and Jeremy Lingvall, are now based out of The Agency’s Beverly Hills office. Doris Tan, who was previously on Alexander’s team remains, with Hilton Hilton as one of three agents — the others being Conrad Hilton and Jack Shulruff — at the brokerage led by chair Rick Hilton.
Alexander’s exit follows the September departure of Hilton Hilton co-founders and co-CEOs Barron N. Hilton and his wife Tessa Hilton, who struck a deal with Compass to bring their business to the brokerage’s Beverly Hills and Palm Beach offices. The couple said in a joint statement to The Real Deal at the time that their departure from Hilton Hilton was a “strategic move” for themselves and clients “for long-term success in an increasingly competitive market.”
Alexander’s move ends his long run working with Rick, who co-founded Hilton & Hyland with the late Jeff Hyland.
“With over 12 years working alongside Rick Hilton and Jeff Hyland, I’m deeply grateful for our long history together,” Alexander said in a statement.
Despite that history, Alexander said The Agency’s Aspen office makes sense as he and his family spend more time in Colorado. Meanwhile, The Agency’s Beverly Hills office allows him and his team to continue their work locally, particularly given the $1.8 billion netted in career sales.
➤ Jon Grauman and Adam Rosenfeld’s Side-backed brokerage Resident Group brought on Kevin Stewart from their former firm, The Agency, to serve as a partner. It’s the first major announcement out of the former “Buying Beverly Hills” stars’ Resident since the brokerage launched in June 2025.
Stewart brings more than $500 million in volume with his move to Resident and also comes full circle with his change of scenery. He previously worked with Grauman and Rosenfeld when the two ran the Grauman Rosenfeld Group at The Agency.
➤ Assisting those who lost their homes from the Palisades Fire to find temporary housing, navigate insurance or plan rebuilding became the basis for Danny Brown and Jenifer Porter starting Porter & Brown Real Estate Advisory Group at Compass. The two, who are joined by Porter’s son, Oliver Porter, are based out of the brokerage’s Beverly Hills office and offer real estate, design and development services.
The launch of Porter & Brown follows over two decades selling homes for Brown, who can count over 450 closings and more than $150 million in inventory both on- and off-market.
Jenifer brings to the newly launched advisory her expertise as an interior designer with A-list client work in her portfolio. That includes 2571 Wallingford Drive, the $60.9 million mansion purchased in 2023 by Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, and Kendrick Lamar’s home at 1707 Westridge Drive in Brentwood, which he purchased in 2024 for about $40 million.
➤ Elsewhere at Compass, the brokerage recruited Monica Antola from Rodeo Realty. Antola had more than $21 million in sales last year and focuses on Pacific Palisades and other L.A. coastal markets.
Antola’s joined by Angel Collins and Ann Marie Ahern, who also moved their business from Rodeo Realty to Compass. The duo, who brought their seven-person team, are based out of Sherman Oaks.
There’s also former Engel & Völkers agents Reza Badakshan and Naomi Kalkanoff, who closed over $25 million in deals last year.
Meanwhile, Ben Bellet, who is making the move from a focus on the Westside to Westlake Village, hung his license with Compass Beverly Hills. He joins from Keller Williams and counted over $22 million in volume last year.
Marv Peters brings over two decades of experience in commercial and residential to the brokerage’s Beverly Hills office. He was most recently with Ram Financial & Investment.
Rob Kellner left Avenue Realty Group to join Compass, with a focus spanning West L.A. to the San Gabriel Valley.
In Orange County, Wyatt Parker made the jump from Side to Compass as he works on selling in and around San Clemente, after closing on $17.5 million in volume last year.
➤ Coldwell Banker Realty’s Foothills offices have seen several new faces join across the Pasadena, La Cañada and San Marino markets. Lori Ramirez, who manages the three offices, put a focus on recruitment for the past 12 months, coming up with a haul of 29 agents with over $200 million in volume to their names. About half of those new recruits hopped over in the past three months.
In January, that included a raft of agents from Engel & Völkers, including Wendy De Leon, Barbie Eland, Ano Fekete, Stacy Petrossian and Andrew Petrossian. Additionally, Tony Wise came from Keller Williams Realty, and Ryan Judd joined from Sans Investment Corps.
In December, Ramirez recruited from Engel & Völkers Ida Altounian and Kathy Boghossian. From Keller Williams Realty, there was Kimberly Brill and Lisa Renee Manley. Additionally, Nicole Deflorian joined from Clint Lukens Realty.
Meanwhile, November saw the addition of more Keller Williams Realty alumni in Alison Huddy and Jason Huddy.
➤ Rodeo Realty remains on its own recruiting tear with the additions of Stephanie Elena in Sherman Oaks, Brett James in Studio City, Joan Gardner in Brentwood and Jessica Sparks-Schaefer in Beverly Hills.
