Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s former Beverly Hills manse takes another haircut to $27M ask

Champion boxer bought home from developer Nile Niami in 2017

The seller of a Beverly Hills mansion once owned by boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. took another hit to the asking price, slashing it to $27.3 million this week.

The asking price for 917 North Crescent Drive equates to $1,805 per square foot for the over 15,000-square-foot spread, which comprises six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

Carolwood Estates’ Alexis Perry and James Harris hold the listing.

It’s the latest whack to the home’s asking price, after the seller last sought just under $30 million in mid-March. The seller once listed the home for as high as $38 million, or $2,517 per square foot, when it first hit the market last January.

Mayweather paid developer Nile Niami $25.5 million for the home in 2017, according to the deed. The big purchase came not long after the undefeated championship boxer nabbed the $100 million purse following his win over Conor McGregor.

Niami’s name is well known locally, most notably for the over 100,000-square-foot megamansion he developed named “The One.” The property, which was once valued at over $500 million, was scooped up at auction by Fashion Nova founder Richard Saghian in 2022 for $141 million.

For the boxer, Crescent Drive wasn’t his first foray into real estate.

“I’ve always been a risk taker,” he said of his real estate firm Vada Properties when he took the stage last year at The Real Deal’s annual NYC Forum. “It’s paid off great thus far.”

While Mayweather held onto the Beverly Hills home for several years, he ended up selling it in December 2024 for a big discount of $11.5 million, or $762 per square foot, to a shell company managed by Lake Forest attorney David Hershorin, according to property and state records. The boxer, who came out of retirement earlier this year, originally asked $48 million, or $3,180 per square foot, in September of that year.

The Crescent Drive home sits on over half an acre. Built in 1992, it’s minutes away from the Beverly Hills Hotel with amenities that include an elevator, bar, wine display, pool and guest house with its own theater.
