In addition to its residential and commercial brokerage business, which The Real Deal wrote about here, Keller Williams has a growing list of other lines of business — both inside and outside the company.
Third-party vendors who work with the company are also given special status by joining an exclusive network. One of those vendors, an owner of KellerPrinters.com, said sales doubled within a year of joining that network. “It’s like winning the lotto,” he said.
“One of the biggest things for Keller Williams is entrepreneurship,” said Ilan Bracha, who co-owns Keller Williams NYC and also invests in real estate through his B+B Capital Group.
Here’s a look at some of the companies and divisions in the Keller Williams orb:
KellerINK: The firm’s book publishing arm has churned out books by Gary Keller and other authors.
MAPS Coaching: The firm’s coaching division charges agents $1,000 a month for one-on-one sessions. Monthly sessions for “rainmakers” and their teams go for $3,000.
KellerPrinters.com: The firm prints marketing materials and business cards exclusively for Keller Williams.
Keller Capital: The private investment vehicle of Gary Keller (and partners) invests in Austin real estate, focusing on the lower-middle market segment.
MAPS Business Coaching: Launched in May 2018, the business is a sister company to Keller Williams that provides coaching services to businesses outside of real estate.
Mega Agents Websites: Launched in 2011 by Bryan Fair — operating principal of eight Keller offices in Atlanta and a regional owner in the New York tri-state area — the company builds and maintains websites for agents.
