Keith Ellis Commercial real estate advisory firm Studley has hired a “baker’s dozen” of new people since unveiling its new Midtown office earlier this year — and a source close to the company says it isn’t slowing down as it fills out its new, 61,000-square-foot space.
The office, which houses a staff of 140, welcomed former CB Richard Ellis executive Keith Ellis early last month. Nabbing Ellis was a major coup for Studley — the executive managing director had been with CBRE for 21 years, and is a former REBNY “Most Ingenious Deal of the Year” award winner.
Other notable hires include a set of three senior brokers from competing firm Cassidy Turley, brought on immediately prior to Studley’s headquarters move to 399 Park Avenue.
The firm welcomed a handful of new, junior staffers last month, including a former Studley intern, Samantha Gentile.
In March, the firm told The Real Deal that it was launching a major expansion effort, looking to grow in the areas of brokerage, project management and real estate investment banking.
