AG sues PA-based realtor

Attorney General Bill McCollum has filed a lawsuit against Pennsylvania-based real estate company A Realty Rx. McCollum accused the company of using deceptive advertising practices on its Web site that violate Florida’s Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act. The AG’s office also claims that neither A Realty Rx nor its owner, Jim Platts, is licensed to broker property in Florida.
