Charities tackle foreclosure crisis

With an increasing number of foreclosures in the U.S., many philanthropic organizations are experimenting with ideas on how best to fight the housing crisis. Living Cities, a consortium of charitable funds and private companies, hopes to raise at least $15 million in donations and long-term loans to help homeowners keep their homes and to fund the purchase of abandoned properties for constructive reuse.
