Biomedical research institute Scripps Florida expects to complete the first phase of its new Palm Beach location this June, following years of controversy and delayed construction. The Scripps’ new headquarters, located in Jupiter, is being funded by $600 million in taxpayer money, a move made by Palm Beach County and the state to attract the California-based company and bring more high paying jobs to the area. When completed, the campus’s first phase will include three buildings, totaling 364,000 square feet.
