Existing-home sales and median sale prices fell in both Broward and
Palm Beach counties in February, from the year before. Home resales
were down 28 percent in each market, to 401 in Palm Beach County in
February and 360 in Broward, according to the Florida Association of
Realtors. The median price in Broward was down 15 percent to $307,700
last month, while the median for Palm Beach County fell 8 percent to
$344,600. The median price for a condo fell 24 percent to $159,300 over
the same period, while the condo sales fell 5 percent to 438.
