West Palm Beach could develop preserved land

Palm Beach County commissioners will consider a proposal to allow the development of preserved land in West Palm Beach, east of State Road 7, for civic uses. If approved, the plan would allow developers to build schools libraries and other civic buildings, but would be required to preserve 60 percent of the land they built on for agricultural uses.
