A $13.3 million, 30,000-square-foot library slated to rise in downtown Boca Raton is in its planning stages. The project has been considerably downsized, after city leaders rejected the original $22 million, 50,000-square-foot proposal. The revised plans, designed by Bermello Ajamil & Partners Inc., will still require the city to dip into savings money to pay for it.
