Realogy shows stagnant commission numbers despite decrease in sales

Real estate commissions have not experienced a rise as a result of the recent decrease in home sales, as typically expected, according to data from South Florida’s Realogy Corp. The average commission for Realogy, the largest brokerage in both Palm Beach and the country, remained just under 5 percent in 2007, around flat from 2006.
