Although developer Bernard Werner got approval for his $114 million, 25-story ArtsPark Village at a zoning hearing on Thursday, he says he is willing to consider alternatives for his project after criticism that his project is too tall and expensive. Current plans include more than 400 luxury rental apartments, an office tower and a charter school. Werner said he will meet with the city and with Hollywood Lakes residents over the next few weeks and consider suggestions for reducing the height and moving the charter school to a different location.
