New property tax rules will actually hike prices in some counties

A property tax plan proposed by Florida’s House Republicans could cause increases in Palm Beach, Miam-Dade, Hillsborough and 17 other counties. If the plan goes through, landowners in 20 counties will face hikes, while those in the remaining 47 counties will have lower property taxes, according to analysis.
