Goldman Sachs partner bought Kimmel’s mansion

The buyer of Sidney Kimmel’s Palm Beach mansion has been revealed to be Goldman Sachs partner John Thorton. The official sale price listed on the deed was $77.5 million, which after adding the $4 million in closings costs, brings the cost of the sale up to Kimmel’s $81.5 million, a record for the county.
