A Salvation Army facility for the homeless in Hollywood is getting a $2 million renovation, with aid from Florida’s Department of Children & Families and a grant from Broward County. The 36-unit Plymouth Colony apartments, in two buildings on Sherman Street, has been partially vacant since sustaining hurricane damage in 2005.
