Lee County suffers housing downturn

The real estate market in Lee County is now clogged with thousands of unsold homes. The decline is so extreme that people are looking for ways to walk away from their properties. That’s prompted real estate agent Marc Joseph to invest in a green bus that bears the legend “Foreclosure Tours R Us.” He’s pretty busy giving tours of bank-owned properties in Lee County, where the housing boom has turned into a bust faster than you can say “sheriff’s sale.” About 40 foreclosures come on the market in the area each day.
